  1. FORTUNE.EXE (6.05):  A tuner-upper for
  2. the DOS FOR command.  Generates a batch
  3. file which does all those wildcard
  4. things you wished FOR could do (like
  5. "FORTUNE IN (*.BAS) DO RENAME %A %2*.*"
  6. to remove parts of file names).  Lets
  7. you do all sorts of things including
  8. distinguishing file name roots from
  9. their extensions as well as incrementing
  10. file names by specified values.
